The 1995 Bouriquot a 66% Cabernet Franc/34% Merlot blend is winemaker Havens Napa Valley imitation of Bordeauxs famed Cheval Blanc. It reveals a deep ruby/purple color followed by big spicy mineral licorice floral-tinged blackcurrant aromas medium body excellent to outstanding fruit concentration a soft layered palate and a rich moderately tannic finish. The wine needs 2-3 years of cellaring but it should keep for 15-18 years possibly meriting an outstanding rating. Source: Wine Advocate
