2012 Amoenus Maybach 75cl Fine Wine from USA
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Amoenus appears to be prodigious. Its inky/blue/purple color is followed by lots of meaty cassis notes, a chewy, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a luxurious, over-the-top richness that obscures some significant, sweet tannins. I suspect this wine will show more structure and firmness once it gets in bottle, much as the 2009 has demonstrated.
